Algorithm Designer

CogniVue is seeking an experienced Algorithm Designer responsible for the design, development and documentation of image processing algorithms written for our proprietary parallel processing technology. This individual will join a skilled team of experienced algorithm and software designers and participate in our growth as a world leader in image cognition applications.

Your Expertise:

Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent 2 or more years of image processing and algorithm design 2 or more years of C/C++ programming skills 2 or more years experience developing in embedded real time systems preferably on ARM processors Experience designing and developing software components and applications in addition to the development of support documentation A team player with a "can do" attitude Effective oral and written communication skills Capable of identifying and solving complex problems A sense of urgency You get things done!

It would be great if you have:

Experience working with vision systems, machine learning and/or Image/Video segmentation for object detection and tracking Experience programming parallel and/or multi-core architectures Experience with SoC design and validation Experience with embedded software development for automotive systems Experience with the use of embedded debugging tools and ideally Trace32 Knowledge of MATLAB for data analysis and algorithm prototyping Experience in digital image sensors, image capture and processing as well as sensor calibration methods
