Image Processing Software Developer

CogniVue is seeking an Image Processing Software Developer who will be responsible for the development and support of image processing algorithms on the PC, ARM processor and CogniVue proprietary APEX DSP Sub-System. The successful candidate should have expertise implementing signal processing algorithms in C language and a background in image/video processing.

Your Expertise:

Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. 5+ years C programming. At least 1 year of C++ programming. In depth knowledge of image processing concepts. Experience implementing signal processing algorithms in C. Experience in any one of image processing libraries like OpenCV, Intel IPP, Matlab and image processing toolbox would be an asset. Experience designing and developing software components with support documentation and unit test cases. Fundamental understanding of embedded processors and Real time OS concepts. Experienced in software testing and software configuration control. Experience with ARM processor architecture. Exposure to developing applications in either multi-core systems or heterogeneous multi-processor systems that require partitioning between ARM processors, custom processors and hardware acceleration blocks. Effective oral and written communication skills.
