Senior Manager Worldwide Sales

The Senior Manager Worldwide Sales will be responsible for driving sales of existing and new products.

The Role

  • Spearhead sales initiatives that are consistent with the company's overall strategy.
  • Develop a strong relationship with worldwide distributor - Future Electronics.
  • Drive focused sales plans to penetrate new accounts worldwide working with Future Electronics sales teams.
  • Develop sales forecasts and track all customer opportunities.
  • Manage sales CRM tool.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers.
  • Serve as a key member of the business team that sets the company's sales direction.
  • Win early customers with limited support.
  • I dentify and negotiate with additional sales representatives if needed.
  • Help define and review effective selling tools to support sales channels such as product demos, presentations, collateral, competitive analysis and objection handling.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel as required.
  • Your Expertise

  • A Bachelor degree preferably in engineering or business.
  • At least 7 years of business development and/or sales experience.
  • An ability to identify potential business opportunities and manage the sales process to successful fruition.
  • Hunting for new sales opportunities.
  • Experience selling semiconductor, hardware electronics and/or software related products preferably to the automotive or video surveillance industries.
  • A solid understanding of CogniVue's targeted markets: products, players, technologies, and possess customer contacts and references in related markets.
  • An appreciation for working within a start-up/early stage environment with a proven track record for successfully selling new products.
  • Able and willing to travel approximately 50% of the time around the globe.
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptionally self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional service orientation.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral) and ideally an ability to speak additional languages (such as French, Spanish, German, Italian, Mandarin, Japanese, Korean)

  • Ideally based in the Ottawa/Gatineau area and working out of the Head Office in Gatineau, QC.
  • Travel

  • Approximately 50% of the time - around the globe.
