Embedded Software Engineer - HW Validation

CogniVue is seeking a Validation Engineer to design and develop drivers and test applications for image cognition processor (ICP) SoCs. Responsibilites include all aspects of validation on an FPGA platform, chip bring-up and failure diagnosis. As an expert in FPGA validation, you will work closely with hardware and software teams in performing low-level embedded software design and hardware debugging.

Your Expertise:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering 4 years experience with low-level embedded software development and digital video and image processing and image cognition Knowledge of digital video processing technologies Experience with Audio codec, digital video image processing, H.264, MPEG2, TVout and HDMI standards Embedded ARM /DSP programming skills using C/C++ and assembly Experience using RTOS: Nucleus or VxWorks Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex system problems and develop innovative solutions A team player with a "can do" attitude Effective oral and written communication skills Capable of identifying and solving complex problems A sense of urgency You get things done!

It would be great if you have:

Experience with standards such as I2C, I2S, SPI, UART, SD/MMC/SDIO Experience using System C
