eyeSight and CogniVue Demonstrate Gesture Recognition and Face Detection on Smallest Form Factor Lowest Power Smart Camera Module

Las Vegas, Nevada - Jan 9, 2011 – eyeSight Mobile Technologies Ltd., a leading provider of gesture recognition software solutions, and CogniVue Corporation, a pioneer of a new class of programmable processors for low power, small form factor embedded intelligent vision processing, today demonstrated gesture recognition and face detection on the CogniVue "CV2201 Prototype Design Kit (PDK)" intelligent cube camera. CV2201 PDK is the smallest and lowest power smart camera reference design in the market today. CV2201 PDK is based on CogniVue's pioneering Image Cognition Processor (ICP) technology.

CogniVue's 1-inch cube CV2201 PDK, is the world's smallest and lowest power smart camera development module. It supports such sophisticated embedded vision functions as moving object detection, gesture recognition, face detection, lane departure warning, blind spot detection and smart back-up camera. eyeSight's gesture recognition software, based on advanced image processing and machine vision algorithms, was an optimal fit for CogniVue's ICP technology, enabling both the gesture recognition and face detection functions.
