Paul W. Estes President and CEO
Beginning in 2009, Paul Estes helped conceive and develop Cognivue® technology, playing integral roles in De Novo 510(k) clearance from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and its commercialization.
Today, as President, he collaborates on planning for technology roadmaps, new product development and expansion, business relations, sales team integration, and staffing. He also holds responsibility for intellectual property management, quality and regulatory affairs, manufacturing, software development, and customer training and support.
Paul has a B.S. degree in Education from Houghton College.
Heather M. Harris Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs & Partnerships
Heather M. Harris is a dynamic leader in the med/tech industry with over 20 years of experience in public health, clinical research, and strategic business development.
As Senior Vice President of Scientific Affairs & Partnerships at Cognivue, she spearheads scientific strategy, research initiatives, and key industry collaborations to drive innovation.
With over 7 years at Cognivue, Heather has played a pivotal role in assembling and managing advisory boards, cultivating key opinion leader (KOL) relationships, and connecting strategic partners across the healthcare and research landscape. She’s led Cognivue’s expansion into clinical trials, contributing to major studies such as FOCUS, Bio-Hermes 001, and Bio-Hermes 002.
Prior to Cognivue, Heather spent 15 years at Merck, with the last 10 as a Health Science Liaison, translating complex scientific data into actionable clinical insights. An accomplished researcher and published author of peer-reviewed papers in top-tier scientific journals, she has dedicated much of her career to Alzheimer’s and dementia research, aiming to improve patient outcomes through early detection and intervention.
Heather’s expertise in scientific affairs, business development, and strategic partnerships continues to shape the future of cognitive health and clinical research.
Patrick Lawler Vice President of Sales
Patrick Lawler serves as the Vice President of Sales at Cognivue, bringing with him a background in medical device sales and a profound passion for brain health.
His dedication to advancing cognitive health solutions is deeply personal, having joined Cognivue in 2021 following the loss of his mother to Alzheimer’s Disease. After experiencing how the current health care model failed his family, and realizing how many others share similar grief, he joined Cognivue to be part of the solution to better patient care and be an advocate for those impacted by dementia.
Under his leadership, Cognivue continues to expand its reach and impact—helping individuals and healthcare providers better understand and manage cognitive health. Patrick holds a degree in Business Administration and his professional journey is characterized by a blend of strategic vision, empathetic leadership, and a relentless drive to make a difference in the lives of those affected by cognitive disorders.
Nehama Moskowitz, MBA Director of Marketing
Nehama Moskowitz is a strategic marketing leader with over 14 years of experience, including nearly a decade in the medical device industry.
As Director of Marketing, she oversees the full scope of marketing strategy for a growing healthcare start-up, including go-to-market planning, customer engagement, and brand positioning. Nehama has held marketing roles across both global healthcare companies and specialized organizations, giving her a unique perspective that blends disciplined execution with long-term strategic vision.
She has led high-impact product launches, built cross-functional partnerships, and driven initiatives that improve customer and patient outcomes. Known for her ability to balance detail-oriented execution with broader business objectives, Nehama ensures that patient quality of life remains central to every strategy. She earned both her MBA and BS in Marketing from Rutgers University.
Noah Peterham Director of Engineering
Noah Peterham developed his passion for medical technology while in college at Rochester Institute of Technology, where he graduated with a B.S. in Information technology.
Noah grew his career at several Rochester area startups and midsized organizations working in product development until he started at Cognivue where he has grown with the company.
During his time at Cognivue, Noah has participated in every part of the product development pipeline. In his current role leading the Research and Development department, Noah has worked with key stakeholders to develop new and progressing value streams supporting clinical research efforts and commercialization while improving quality and reliability of the Cognivue product ecosystem
James E. Galvin, MD, MPH Chief Scientific Officer
James E. Galvin, MD, MPH is Professor of Neurology and Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
He is Alexandria & Bernard Schoninger Endowed Chair in Memory Disorders, Founding Director of the Comprehensive Center for Brain Health, Director and Principal Investigator of the Lewy Body Dementia Research Center of Excellence, and Chief of Division of Cognitive Neurology for Palm Beach and Broward County leading their brain health and neurodegenerative disease research and clinical programs.
